A new Equipping Class entitled "How (Not) to Read the Bible," a six-session video-based study from RightNow Media started on July 19th. Each session is based on a guide written by Dan Kimball on how to make sense of misunderstood, difficult, and disturbing Bible passages related to women, science, violence, slavery, and world religions. Join us each Sunday for lessons featuring short videos filled with stories, visual illustrations, and memes reflecting popular cultural objections, followed by a stimulating time of discussion.
Meets at 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall
We also encourage you to listen to a Moody Radio program called The Land And The Book. It often provides very helpful insights regarding God's involvement in Israel, as well as how to reach out to our friends with the Gospel. Check out Moody Radio at 89.7 at noon on Saturdays, or 9 p.m. on Sundays. To listen at your convenience, get the Moody Radio app (free) and at the bottom click on "Discover." Under that, scroll down until you see "The Land And The Book."
May we all continue to grow in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Col. 1:10-14
